About Me

Lisa Carey Moore: For the last few years, I’ve been working as a sustainability consultant assisting clients interested in pursuing the United States Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Design (LEED) certification. My living spaces during my life have been varied, and in 2010 my family had the chance to build a home from scratch. It was an exciting and daunting undertaking. Frustrating too, as the time from design to build was a little too short (the entire house was finished in less than 7 months). Hopefully some of my insights will help others undertaking similar pursuits.
